"I began a workout regime with Ricky Jackson in May of 2009. At that time I didn’t have a real weight issue, however I didn’t have any muscle tone and I could definitely benefit from exercising, if for no other reason than to be healthy. I worked out with Ricky from May of 2009 until approximately August of 2010. When I began the workout program I weighed 142 pounds and I currently weigh 132 pounds. So I lost 10 pounds which I have managed to keep off by continuing to work out on my own at least three times a week, and I have developed muscle tone all over my body.
What I have really appreciated from Ricky’s training is that he always made sure you not just worked out for the sake of working out, but he also made sure that you understood each machine you used, what muscle(s) it worked and how it benefited your body. Therefore when I travel (which I do quite often with my job) I can walk into a Fitness Center and know just what to do. I am grateful to him for imparting his knowledge which has helped me to be more conscious of not only the importance of exercising but also the importance of your food intake…your daily diet/food choices.
When it comes to his training program, Ricky takes a very professional, serious, approach and provides a pleasant workout environment. This was my first and only time working out with a professional trainer and I am so glad that I had this opportunity, it has benefited me greatly!"
